When researching what I would like to do on my linked page, I looked at the Radio 1 Breakfast show . They have a profile page for the host Greg James, and this makes the show more personal as they know the host more.
When looking at what to post on the show's social media, a key feature to ensure audience interaction, I looked at Capital FM's instagram, and really like the use of celebrities, and colour.
I incorporated this by doing a similar 'wrapping paper font' for future guest 'Millie Bright', and using the faces of Jeremy Corbyn and Boris Johnson in jokey posts.
My old banners, were in accordance with my old cover art colours, and this didn't now have any connection to my radio show product, so this had to be changed
My focus group concluded on the whole, that although they liked the font and incorporation of the presenter cartoons, they didn't like the colour scheme as they felt it was too 'lairy' and formatted oddly.
To adhere to this audience feedback, I used the font on my website in main bodies of text, and used the cartoon avatars on my new cover art
I tried different formats of audio visual before settling on a trailer. I tried to do a quiz with the celebrity guest in the cartoon format, before deciding it wasn't as effective and didn'twork well, here is a short clip.
I added some special effects of famous politicians getting 'cancelled' by a big stop sign, with fast-paced editing, as my focus group had commented that y original audience feedback, although in accordance to Radio 4's normal trailers, was one-note.
I also added in some music, as this adhered and appealed more to a 16-25 fun-loving audience. The screenshot below showing this process.
