PRODUCTION - AUDIO VISUAL

Video Editing in response to Audience Feedback

I added some special effects of famous politicians getting 'cancelled' by a big stop sign, with fast-paced editing, as my focus group had commented that y original audience feedback, although in accordance to Radio 4's normal trailers, was one-note. 

I also added in some music, as this adhered and appealed more to a 16-25 fun-loving audience. The screenshot below showing this process.

To ensure that my cover art and website was still adhering to my target audience, and the generic conventions of a comedy radio show, I asked my focus group and other people whom are in the 16-25 fun-loving category, what font they liked best. I selected the font they like the most, as I also agreed that number 3 was the best

'Beyond Today' trailer

'Beyond Today', is BBC Radio 4's flagship news programme, adapted into a new podcast in a bid to attract a younger audience.
The Today programme, which has lost more than a million listeners in a year, published its spinoff show Beyond Today.
The podcast, aimed at a younger audience, is the work of a team of mostly women in their twenties.
